Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee the daily operations of the company’s vehicle fleet, ensuring the timely availability and smooth functioning of all transport needs.
Manage and maintain all vehicles, ensuring regular servicing, repairs, and upkeep.
Handle all documentation related to vehicles, including registration, insurance, road tax, and fitness certificates.
Ensure that all vehicles meet legal and regulatory standards, coordinating with BRTA for matters such as license renewals, tax affairs, and vehicle fitness.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle expenses, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
Coordinate with drivers and other personnel for vehicle assignments and trip scheduling.
Ensure all drivers have valid licenses and adhere to company safety policies.
Conduct periodic vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
Stay up-to-date with transport regulations and ensure compliance with BRTA guidelines.
