Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Candidates are required to have completed high school.
∎ Candidates with university or higher education, either completed undergraduate degrees, Masters, or partial completion of university are preferred.
∎ Skills Required: Accountability, Client Orientation, Communication, Continuous Learning, creativity and initiative, leadership and negotiation
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support client with archiving and transcribing interviews collected through consultations within the field - primarily Rohingya to English.
∎ Assist in formatting and reviewing transcripts, audio of interviews, and checking for accuracy of transcriptions.
∎ Archive and label transcripts according to established system. Maintain transcripts order and function.
∎ Occasionally support translation and transcription of materials into Bangladeshi or Rohingya from English.
∎ Work in a team of Rohingya, Bangladeshi and international researchers and CwC technical staff to support consultations, research, and analysis of the response.
∎ Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 19 to 30 years
∎ Experience with group facilitation, report writing and qualitative methodologies.
∎ Experience in a refugee camp is a plus.
∎ Good communication skill in local language.
∎ Fluency in English and Rohingya.
∎ Experience with typing and archiving work.
∎ Previous experience conducting this work for other organizations & researches.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 2000 (Daily)
