Job Responsibilities:
∎ Your main responsibilities will include leading and overseeing the implementation of the company's strategy and apparel business plans for our quality products. You will also provide regular training to your colleagues on the product development team.
∎ You will create and manage the timelines and action plans of all apparel products. This includes monito- ring the daily status of product development through- out the apparel manufacturing process, including production, design and technical design, as well as developing the production calendar for seasonal deliveries and special events.
∎ Your daily business will also include liaising with Brand Partners on fabrics and yarns to negotiate appropriate pricing and then approving materials for their appearance based on formal guidelines and technical knowledge.
∎ Researching new technologies, materials and innovations in garment construction in the marketplace and supply chain, including patterns/fit, trims and embel- lishments is fun for you! You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement product development.
∎ You're no stranger to design, marketing, and brand operations - you're well-versed in development, materials, costing, and patternmaking (2D/3D pattern- making) and manage the process of a product from initial sketch to final pattern placement.
∎ Your secondary responsibilities include managing the approval process for all markdowns, samples, cuts and technically correct lab dips.
∎ The controlling of all products in the development up to the final production is in your hands - for this you are in daily exchange with the headquarters.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 32 years
∎ You have already gained 5+ years of experience in product development/product design and come from a creative work environment with proven experience in idea generation and theme-oriented products.
∎ You score highly in 2D and 3D CAD and ideally bring experience in technical outerwear development and knowledge of accessories manufacturing.
∎ You have strong leadership skills and supervisory experience and have already gained knowledge in marketing and manufacturing.
∎ With your strong written and verbal communication skills, you find it easy to give presentations and communicate with colleagues and brand partners in an appreciative manner.
∎ You have a desire to work in a very fast-paced environment and overcome challenges with your organizational skills and eye for detail.
