Educational Requirements:
∎ Bsc in Civil Engineering

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct Shelter and Site Improvement assessment through visit and interview of individual household, community consultation along with Mahji by using prescribed format in collaboration with Site Management Sector (SMS), CiC officials and others stakeholder.
∎ Ensure distribution of coupon to the selected HHs for receiving Shelter materials from the distribution center/point.
∎ Ensure requisition for required materials of shelter and site improvement as well as ensure the availability of materials stock at distribution center/point.
∎ Ensure distribution shelter materials and necessary accessories to the selected beneficiaries using master roll and KoBo.
∎ Ensure technical support and assistance to the beneficiaries to build their shelter by themselves with maintaining shelter performance standard (minimum and desired).
∎ Prepare daily report and submitted to Assistant Technical Specialist for necessary action as well as maintain regular tracking and update of shelter activities with necessary adjustment to ensure the timely completion of all project work including reporting.
∎ Prepare IOU and make payment to labors on time regularly.
∎ Provide technical support and guidance to the Field Assistance-Shelter and beneficiaries for shelter building/construction, maintenance and site improvement interventions.
∎ Provide technical support & assistance in line with Shelter sector and organization standard as well as considering the need of the women, child, adolescent and person with disability and EVI families
∎ Ensure the quantity and quality of Shelter and Site Improvement activities as per organization and Shelter Sector.
∎ Ensure the safety of colleagues, volunteers and beneficiaries from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation.
∎ Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ Budgeting, communication, writing, monitoring and evaluating, auditing, project management, project implementation
∎ Facilitating group meetings, managing timelines, oral and written fluency in both Bangla and English, handling critical issues with relevant stakeholders
