Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Implementing Urban Health Care & Diagnostic center & Outreach center in targeted location also provide technical guidance & support for all operational activities, coordinate with selected communities to achieve program goals & objectives.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support, overall implementation of the programme in coordination with programme unit and other departments of BRAC.
∎ Collaborate with the Ministry of Health, DGH, Civil surgeon, DD family Planning, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer to establish standard health facility and ensure strategic support for smooth implementation of UDP interventions
∎ Oversee implementation of proposed UHC&DCs and OC in the targeted location. Maintain the govt health regulations procedure like various liscenching procedure, approval from drug administration etc.
∎ Assist in preparing AOP, developing programme specific guidelines, standard operating procedures, forms and formats to document programme activities and communication materials
∎ Represent BRAC at national, bilateral and international forums
∎ Oversee the integration of SMART technology at multiple levels of field operation & UHC&DC
∎ Assist in preparing project proposals, detailed budget, periodic and special reports and other necessary documents for management, developing partners, or others as needed
∎ Upholding teamwork and group dynamics with staff management like hiring, transfer and performance appraisal etc.
∎ Oversee the supply chain management and stock management of UHC&DC and OC, Prepare the specification, technical evaluation of health services instruments and Medicine list
∎ Consult with medical services business providers and community groups to discuss service problems, respond to community needs, enhance public relations, coordinate activities and plans, and promote health services programs
∎ Develop or expand and implement clinical health services that promote research, rehabilitation, and community health
∎ Identify the lacking of Technical staff and prepare various training module and provide need-based training
∎ Monitor the use of diagnostic services, facilities, and staff to ensure effective use of resources
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 06 years of working experience with NGOs, UN agency or international development organisation including 03 years of experience in the health project or programme or health care services sector is mandatory
∎ Sound knowledge on maternal, child health & nutrition
∎ Sound knowledge on communicable & non-communicable diseases.
∎ Sound knowledge to establish health care centre
∎ Excellent strategic thinking and leadership skills
∎ Excellent communication skill
∎ Excellent decision making, problem-solving and team management skills
