Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise and coordinate the technical operations within the facility or department, ensuring that all systems and processes run smoothly.
∎ Monitor the performance of machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure they meet operational goals.
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
∎ Oversee the preventive maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment to ensure they remain in good working condition.
∎ Identify areas for improvement in technical processes and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
∎ Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure timely availability of technical resources.
∎ Maintain accurate records of technical activities, maintenance schedules, repairs, and improvements.
∎ Prepare technical reports and provide regular updates to management on key performance indicators, issues, and progress on projects.
∎ Ensure continuous training and development of technical staff to keep up with industry trends and advancements.
