Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Aquaculture/Agriculture from any reputed college / polytechnic institute. Diploma in Aquaculture is preferred.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that all aquaculture activities are implementing according to budget and in quantitative and qualitative manner
∎ Assist ATO-JSS to re-excavate according to the design and leveling, dressing, turfin implementing accordingly and are delivered in an efficient, equitable, and accountable manner, with BRAC standards
∎ Conduct base line and need assessment survey of beneficiaries and plan training based on their need on aquaculture and agriculture activities on pond dike
∎ Oversee the progress on the earthwork of pond and assists other relevant colleagues and volunteer that earth work will be completed within time line.
∎ Promotion of aquaculture among the targeted beneficiaries of Rohingya communities by establishment of 35 community based pond where @ 20 BF HH will involve for each season of pond fish culture
∎ Mobilize selected Rohingya community peoples for fish culture and build the capacity to prepare pond in due manner
∎ Distribute fish Culture inputs to selected pond's beneficiaries and help them on proper uses on that
∎ Responsible to assists for pond preparation, water quality test for better productivity, stock fish fingerlings in selected ponds and do sample to see the fingerling growth in a periodic manner and adjust feed accordingly
∎ Awareness development of beneficiaries to cultivate pond dike/embankment Vegetable and involved the targeted beneficiaries to do the same.
∎ Assist to Conduct pond site meeting for selected beneficiaries once in a month and visit the pond dike vegetable gardening of selected pond in periodic manner
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 02-year working experiences in pond fish culture, management, pond re-excavation, pond design and labor management.
∎ House construction and earthen works
∎ WASH hardware and construction works
∎ Disaster Management of Bangladesh.
∎ Computer Literacy (MS-Word, Excel, power point etc.)
∎ Good skill both in Bangla and English
∎ Ability to work in a team.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and deadline.
∎ Flexible to face new challenges
