Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Information Technology or related fields from any reputed university with no Third Division/Class

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.
∎ Monitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed.
∎ Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
∎ Responsible for the configuration, Maintenance, troubleshooting and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
∎ Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
∎ Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
∎ Configuring and maintaining the networked computer system, including hardware, system software, and applications.
∎ Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
∎ Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience in similar job preferably in a bank or financial institutions
∎ Professional Certification i.e. RHCE, RHCSA, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, MCSA/MCSE)) will be given preferences
∎ Strong knowledge with OS specially Linux and Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2021, Linux, Exchange Server, Domain Controller with DC, DR and Anti-Virus solution is required.
∎ Strong knowledge of Virtualization, VMware, Server, Storage, Network attach Storage, Back-Up system or equivalent is needed.
∎ Knowledge on operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching.
∎ Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
∎ System administration (Windows & Linux, Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization) and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields will be an advantage.
