∎ Beconnected is currently looking for a compliance officer. In this position you are responsible for the CRS in Bangladesh. This team works together with our offices in Belgium & Hong Kong/China to supports our clients over the world.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conducting internal reviews and audits at suppliers to ensure compliance procedures are followed.
∎ Coordinating and conducting internal risk assessments and identifying, assessing, and managing risks.
∎ Ensuring company activities, COC, policies, and documentation are compliant with company, and the local government regulations.
∎ Coordinating and attending the Global CSR meetings with the Global Team.
∎ Conduct a 'Facility Check" audit once a year and analyze issues and implement necessary corrective measures before the 3rd party audit.
∎ Conduct a Disney Health & Safety checklist and analyze issues and implement necessary corrective measures.
∎ Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
∎ Liaising with ACCORD/RSC team, and other auditing organisations to update the audit status of suppliers and implement remediation actions.
∎ Ensure all suppliers are educated on the latest regulations and processes and assist with the training.
∎ Attending projects around social compliance such as social dialogue or responsible purchasing.
∎ Follow up environmental audits such as Higg, BEPI, ISO 14001 and STeP by Oekotex as advised by the customers.
∎ Help promote corporate news and information to the suppliers via written communication.
∎ Online monitoring and updating the supply chain management and follow-up on the supply chain on order level through our online platform (tex.tracer). Supporting and helping suppliers in providing and updating their footprint data on the platform.
∎ Attending projects around social compliance such as social dialogue or responsible purchasing.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5-8 years of service as a CSR officer in a reputed organization;
∎ Experience in social compliance and environmental audits is essential;
∎ Strong Bangla & English spoken and written communication skills;
∎ Good knowledge of health & safety, environmental & labor regulations, Freedom of Association and management systems for social compliance;
∎ High sense professional integrity;
∎ Self-motivated and able to execute plans.
