Additional Requirements:
∎ Extensive experience in social compliance audit processes (BSCI, SA8000, SEDEX) & Accord (RCS).
∎ Proven track record of handling chemical management system or knowledge about how to work on new chemical management tools such as BHive, Clean-Chain or BVE3
∎ Proven track record in audit follow-up and preparation of corrective action plans.
∎ Knowledge of sustainable materials and transaction certification processes (GOTS, GRS, RCS, OCS).
∎ Excellent spoken and written English skills.
Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct and oversee social compliance audits such as BSCI, SA8000, and SEDEX.
∎ Ensure adherence to social compliance standards and ethical practices within the organization.
∎ To handle all ACCORD (RCS) audits in collaboration with suppliers and work with them to complete the remediation program.
∎ Monitor and follow up on audit findings.
∎ Develop and implement corrective action plans to address non-compliance issues.
∎ Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
∎ Arranging and following up on environmental audits such as Higg, ISO 14001, BEPI, and Oeko-Tex by STeP.
∎ Collaborate with customers and suppliers and follow up on chemical management systems like Bhive, Clean-Chain or BVE3.
∎ Stay updated on sustainable materials such as GOTS, GRS, RCS, and OCS.
∎ Manage the transaction certification process for sustainable materials.
∎ Ensure compliance with sustainability standards and certifications.
∎ Exhibit strong spoken and written English skills.
∎ Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to social compliance and sustainability.
∎ Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Conduct training sessions for employees on social compliance and sustainability practices.
∎ Raise awareness about the importance of ethical practices and sustainability within the organisation.
∎ Identify opportunities for improving social compliance and sustainability processes.
∎ Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the organisation’s CSR initiatives.
