Job Summary:
The Store In-Charge / Storekeeper is responsible for managing and controlling all materials and equipment required for Bakery and food processing factory. This role ensures timely availability of materials, maintains accurate stock records, implements inventory control measures, and supports site operations by coordinating with procurement/ Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Management
Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials and supplies for construction work.
Ensure proper documentation of material receipts, issues, and transfers.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
Inventory Control
Implement inventory management systems to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
Track consumption patterns and provide timely reports to the procurement and project teams.
Maintain reorder levels and coordinate for timely replenishment of critical materials.
Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), MRN (Material Receipt Notes), Issue Slips, and other relevant records.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock and material consumption reports.
Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
Coordination
Coordinate with Managers, and Procurement teams for material planning and requirements.
Liaise with vendors, transporters, and suppliers for timely delivery and quality checks.
Ensure proper communication regarding material shortages, rejections, or damages.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure proper storage conditions for products.
Enforce site safety, housekeeping, and material handling protocols.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for material management.
