Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise the receipt of goods, equipment, and tools, ensuring alignment with PRD. Perform a thorough inspection of received items against purchase orders and established quality standards to verify quantity and quality; liaise with relevant functions within the organization to conduct any necessary technical inspections prior to final receiving.
∎ Implement and maintain a safe and well-organized storage environment for tools and equipment. Ensure accurate and complete item creation and coding within the Oracle system, including cross-referencing storage locations. Organize and maintain inventory based on designated category (e.g., Inventory, Spare Parts, Scraps) for efficient stock control.
∎ Implement a system for end-user borrowing of tools and equipment through proper work order submission.
∎ Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with functional departments to identify and initiate procurement requests based on actual needs.
∎ Maintain consistent follow-up with departments and the Procurement department to ensure timely purchase order conversion from PRs.
∎ Maintain and update the inventory Masterfile/database, providing regular inventory reports to the line manager on KPI related to stock levels and utilization.
∎ Develop warehouse/inventory SOPs and follow-up in terms of work instruction implementation.
∎ Oversee the operation and maintenance of fuel dispensers, including refueling procedures and meter reading. Meticulously track relevant fuel usage metrics to facilitate accurate reporting. Manage and maintain the Emergency Diesel Generator.
∎ Supervise and monitor store clerks, ensuring they complete tasks accurately and adhere to established safety protocols and work standards.
∎ Continuously propose cost efficient process improvement to top management.
