Experience:
Diploma or bachelor`s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in storekeeping, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in humanitarian or development programmes.
Experience working in food distribution programmes is an asset.
Experience working with children, schools, or vulnerable populations is an advantage.
Proven experience collaborating with government, UN agencies, international NGOs, and communities.
Skills and Competencies
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Familiarity with the cultural and social context of Bhasanchar or similar locations.
Ability to work effectively in a team and under challenging conditions.
Fluency in English and the Bangla language (Rohingya/Chittagonian dialect is highly desirable).
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, as well as email and internet browsing.

Job Summary

The Store Keeper cum Logistic Officer will be responsible for managing the storage and distribution of food and non-food items required for the school feeding programme. The role also includes ensuring efficient logistics support, inventory control, and compliance with organizational policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the proper receipt, storage, and issuance of food supplies, utensils, and other materials needed for the school feeding programme.
2. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe storage facility.
3. Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accurate inventory management.
4. Keep detailed records of all incoming and outgoing items using inventory management tools.
5. Ensure food items are stored in compliance with health and safety standards to avoid spoilage.
6. Plan and coordinate the transportation of supplies from the central warehouse to the school and central kitchen sites in a timely and efficient manner.
7. Monitor and track the distribution of supplies to ensure accurate delivery.
8. Work with the programme team to develop and implement distribution schedules.
9. Ensure the proper documentation of all transportation and distribution activities.
10. Address any logistical issues or delays promptly to avoid disruption in programme implementation.
11. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and distribution reports for submission to the Project Officer (BC).
12. Maintain accurate records of damaged, expired, or missing stock and report it to the authorities.
13. Ensure all documentation, such as waybills, receipts, and delivery notes, is accurately completed and filed.
14. Adhere to organizational policies and donor requirements regarding logistics and inventory management.
15. Conduct risk assessments for storage and transportation activities and recommend improvements.
Coordination:
1. Work in close collaboration with the Relief Coordinator, Project Officer, and the school feeding program team to ensure that PSEA (Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse), child protection, and gender considerations are integrated into all activities.
2. Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, finance, and programme teams, to ensure seamless operations.
3. Assist in planning for emergency stock and contingency logistics support as required.
4. Participate in coordination meetings with partners and stakeholders to address store and logistic-related challenges.
