We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sr. Officer-Social Compliance to join our team. The incumbent will assist in maintaining compliance with buyer requirements, labor law practices, and social & environmental standards to ensure a sustainable and ethical workplace.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure 100% implementation of the buyer’s COC, Labor Law 2006, and labor rules.
Monitor compliance certification and be able to face their different audits with requirements.
Ensure compliance on health & safety as per the in-house checklist.
Ensure non-discrimination in the course of employment, paying/providing wages/salary/benefits/facilities/welfare.
Ensure that no forced employment occurred in the factories.
Ensure that No Child/Child Looking Workers are employed;
Face different types of buyer audits.
Follow up / take instant corrective action on the auditors’ certain minor findings / discrepancies during the audit.
Take proper and immediate steps to improve factory conditions, which will address the issue of non-compliance with buyers, and take all possible steps to adhere to buyer’s compliance inspection.
Communicate with Fire & Civil defense Department, Labor Office, Labor Court, Police Station, Local Influences and Labor Federation, etc to lead, direct, control, motivate, appraise & train fellow staff.
