Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/ Masters/ MBA/ BSC (Eng.) in Textile Engineering form well reputed institution or equivalent.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Merchandising, Production, Quality Inspection, Sample
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handle day-to-day Merchandising operations.
∎ Understand and follow customer procedures for order fulfillment.
∎ Communicate with suppliers for raw materials, booking and delivery.
∎ Responsible for the coordination of daily operational activities in fabric, pre -production sample development, costing.
∎ Experience in product development, Production & Planning, and Merchandising. Costing/budgeting, sourcing (raw materials).
∎ Production & samples follow up with factories and related procedures.
∎ Communicate with buyers on day to day merchandising activities and approvals.
∎ Preparation of the QC files to hand over in time for QC.
∎ Accomplish merchandising cycle (File/ Record keeping/ Sampling/ TNAs/ QC file making/ Production follow up/ Shipment booking).
∎ Trims, accessories, fabric sourcing (overseas and local).
∎ Preparing price calculation of the product.
∎ Good knowledge in woven bottom item.
∎ Make the critical path and TNA according to garment delivery and follow up the TNA/Critical path daily basis.
∎ Any other responsibility assign by the management
∎ Will be responsible for handling buyer – H&M, Primark, George.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in woven Garments Merchandising.
∎ Strong oral and written communication skill in English.
∎ Computer Skills in MS-Office, email and Internet is a must.
∎ Should have sound knowledge on woven Garments.
∎ Should be able to work on own initiative under pressure.
∎ Should be able to anticipate and provide solutions to the problems.
∎ Self-motivated, confident and proactive.
∎ Able to continuous e-mail corresponding.
∎ Having Textile or Fashion design background will be added extra value.
∎ Must have the wash knowledge on denim garments and fabric inspection process and procedure.
