Responsibilities & Context:
  • Prepare monthly/weekly production and shipment planning.

  • Analyze production processes and implement effective line balancing to achieve maximum efficiency.

  • Monitor hourly production, efficiency (DHU, SMV), and take corrective actions.

  • Conduct time and motion studies to establish accurate SMV (Standard Minute Value).

  • Develop and implement improved methods to reduce waste and increase productivity.

  • Prepare capacity plans based on order requirements and production capabilities.

  • Set realistic production targets and ensure alignment with delivery schedules.

  • Support product costing by analyzing operation breakdown and SMV.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through process optimization.

  • Track KPI’s such as efficiency, absenteeism impact, bottlenecks, and operator performance.

  • Generate daily/weekly IE reports for management review.

  • Design and improve factory layout to minimize motion, handling time, and improve workflow. Ensure right man & machine in right process.

  • Ensure smooth material flow across cutting, sewing, and finishing sections.

  • Train supervisors, line leaders, and operators on best practices, method improvements, and efficiency techniques.

  • Develop multi-skilled workforce strategies.

  • Ensure IE practices comply with buyer standards and industry benchmarks.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen.

  • Maintain man-machine ratio (MMR)

  • Take initiative to increase workforce efficiency.

  • Arrange necessary training session to improve worker’s efficiency and make skilled worker.

  • Make TNA report as per management plan and take initiative to achieve.
