  • Strong hands-on experience in CAD & Sample Development handling Woven Bottom items.

  • Software & Technical Skills:

  • Practical expertise in GT Software / Optitex (knowledge of Gerber / Lectra is an added advantage).

  • Proficient in MS Excel (for consumption analysis & reporting) and Email Communication

Key Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of pattern cutting, size grading, garment fitting troubleshooting, and fabric utilization.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team and support senior leadership.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and good technical communication skills in English.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Operational Assistance & Execution: Assist the departmental head in driving day-to-day operations across CAD, pattern making, and sample development teams.

  • Pattern & Fit Accuracy: Review and support pattern creation, grading, and adjustments based on buyer Tech Packs (TP), comments, and measurement specifications for woven bottom products.

  • Sample Planning & Readiness: Co-ordinate end-to-end execution of initial Proto, Fit, SMS, PP, Size Set, and Shipment samples ensuring 100% quality compliance and timeline commitment.

  • Fabric Consumption & Marker Efficiency: Work extensively with CAD software (Optitex/GT Software/Gerber) to achieve optimum marker efficiency and precise fabric consumption for costing and bulk cutting.

  • Technical Communication & Troubleshooting: Support technical discussions with buyer QA/Technical teams, participate in fit evaluations, and resolve construction/fitting challenges during sampling and production.

  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Maintain strong coordination with Merchandising, Cutting, IE, Technical, and Production teams for smooth style handover.

  • Team Guidance & Reporting: Support and guide junior team - pattern makers, operators, and sample technicians while maintaining technical records.
