Experience:
PGD on Supply Chain Management will be preferred.
Execute and supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching fabric materials in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Commercial, Procurement, Production, Accounts, Audit, and other departments to ensure the timely receipt and delivery of materials.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all warehouse transactions are recorded in the ERP/system on a timely basis.
Prepare and maintain warehouse documentation, including Goods Receiving Reports (GRR), Material Requisition Reports (MRR), Material Movement Reports, Stock Registers, and other inventory-related records.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Procurement team to maintain optimum inventory and prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts, stock verification, and reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, handling, and preservation of all fabric materials to minimize damage and inventory loss.
Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, damaged, and out-of-stock items and report findings with recommendations to management.
Support warehouse logistics by ensuring the timely movement of materials to production and other departments.
Verify the accuracy of received and issued materials and ensure proper documentation for all inventory transactions.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock reports for management review.
Assist in internal and external inventory audits by providing accurate records and supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, inventory control procedures, and company policies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following workplace safety and housekeeping standards.
Inspect warehouse equipment and storage facilities regularly and report maintenance or repair requirements.
Coordinate and supervise warehouse assistants and operators to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Perform any other warehouse-related duties assigned by the reporting manager or management.
