Responsibilities & Context:
  • Execute and supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching fabric materials in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Coordinate with Merchandising, Commercial, Procurement, Production, Accounts, Audit, and other departments to ensure the timely receipt and delivery of materials.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all warehouse transactions are recorded in the ERP/system on a timely basis.

  • Prepare and maintain warehouse documentation, including Goods Receiving Reports (GRR), Material Requisition Reports (MRR), Material Movement Reports, Stock Registers, and other inventory-related records.

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Procurement team to maintain optimum inventory and prevent stock shortages or overstocking.

  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts, stock verification, and reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, handling, and preservation of all fabric materials to minimize damage and inventory loss.

  • Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, damaged, and out-of-stock items and report findings with recommendations to management.

  • Support warehouse logistics by ensuring the timely movement of materials to production and other departments.

  • Verify the accuracy of received and issued materials and ensure proper documentation for all inventory transactions.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock reports for management review.

  • Assist in internal and external inventory audits by providing accurate records and supporting documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, inventory control procedures, and company policies.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following workplace safety and housekeeping standards.

  • Inspect warehouse equipment and storage facilities regularly and report maintenance or repair requirements.

  • Coordinate and supervise warehouse assistants and operators to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.

  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.

  • Perform any other warehouse-related duties assigned by the reporting manager or management.
