Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context:
To lead and manage all fabric finishing operations by ensuring product quality, production efficiency, on-time delivery, cost optimization, compliance, and continuous process improvement while meeting customer requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage fabric finishing operations to achieve production and shipment targets.
Ensure the finishing processes comply with buyer specifications and quality standards.
Plan and optimize manpower, machine capacity, and production resources for maximum efficiency.
Monitor washing, dyeing, drying, curing, pressing, trimming, thread cleaning, inspection, mending, packing and shipment readiness.
Minimize defects, rework, rejection and material wastage through effective process control.
Drive productivity improvement and cost optimization initiatives across the department.
Coordinate closely with Planning, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Sales, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor departmental KPIs and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement timely corrective and preventive actions.
Lead, coach, train, and evaluate team members to enhance performance and capability.
Support audits, customer visits and compliance assessments by maintaining required standards and documentation.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by management related to the department's operations.
