Job Context:

Evince Textiles Limited is looking for a dynamic and technically sound Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Utility to support the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of utility systems in its textile manufacturing facility. The role will provide hands-on exposure to boiler, generator, compressor, WTP, ETP, electrical systems, steam and other utility operations, along with energy monitoring, preventive maintenance, safety, and efficiency improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of daily utility operations, ensuring smooth functioning of power generation, water treatment, compressed air, steam, and other essential utility systems in the textile manufacturing plant.

• Support the operation and monitoring of Captive Power Plant, Boiler, HVAC systems, Water Treatment Plant (WTP), and other utility equipment to ensure uninterrupted production support.

• Contribute to the implementation of preventive maintenance plans for all utility equipment, ensuring timely execution and improved system reliability.

• Work closely with utility technicians and cross-functional teams to identify operational issues and support effective resolution of utility related problems.

• Assist in troubleshooting minor breakdowns and operational abnormalities in utility systems to minimize downtime and production impact.

• Follow instructions from senior engineers and management in executing maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and operational guidelines.

• Support the monitoring and recording of key operational parameters

• such as pressure, temperature, flow, load, and consumption of utilities. Assist in maintaining proper inventory control of spare parts, tools, consumables required for utility maintenance activities. and

• Assist in identifying energy-saving opportunities and support initiatives aimed at improving utility efficiency and reducing operational costs.

• Learn and support the application of modern technologies in utility systems to improve performance and reduce system losses.

• 'Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and housekeeping of all utility plant areas including boiler house, generator room, compressor room, and water treatment plant.

• Maintain proper documentation of utility operations, maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and logbook entries.

• Provide timely updates and daily operational reports to the Manager and senior engineers regarding utility performance and issues.

• Support the team in emergency situations and assist in quick restoration of utility services during breakdowns or failures.

• Ensure compliance with all safety rules, including PPE usage, LOTО procedures, and operational safety guidelines during all utility activities.

• Assist in maintaining safe working conditions by identifying hazards and reporting unsafe situations immediately to seniors.

• Coordinate with production, maintenance, electrical, and mechanical departments for smooth utility support to ensure uninterrupted factory operations.

• Monitor utility system performance and report any deviations abnormalities to senior staff for corrective action.

• Assist in the implementation of shutdown and maintenance activities per schedule.

• Perform any additional duties related to utility operations as instructed by management or senior engineers.
