Responsibilities & Context:
Develop efficient sewing methods and operation sequences for new styles.
Prepare operation bulletins, SMV, line layouts, production targets, and line balancing.
Monitor and improve productivity, efficiency, and performance across approximately 30 sewing lines.
Plan manpower, machines, and attachments to ensure smooth production and quick style changeovers.
Optimize manpower deployment by managing daily absenteeism and line requirements.
Conduct method, motion, and time studies to improve productivity and reduce WIP, defects, and wastage.
Analyze sewing operations and optimize workstation layout and production flow.
Identify and resolve production bottlenecks in coordination with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Technical teams.
Coordinate line loading, capacity planning, and production execution with Planning and Production.
Ensure smooth coordination between Cutting, Sewing, and Finishing to meet shipment schedules.
Review production efficiency and incentive reports and conduct regular factory floor audits.
Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen, standardization, and lean manufacturing practices.
