• Newtimes Development Ltd. Bangladesh Liaison Office is inviting applications from locals/foreigners for employment for the following function.

• Closely orchestrate and monitor in-country performance on all functions, i.e. Merchandising, Quality, Compliance, Logistics and develop direct relationship with Customers to build credibility.

• Establish and track KPI’s of production effectiveness and vendor performance – prepare reports for internal and external analysis/action.

• Engage with Hong Kong merchandising teams to influence company sourcing strategy, and ensure offshore office are aligned with head office direction.

• Monitor the office expenses/operating costs/P&L - creating a lean and efficient team.

• Drive direct business with customers not managed by head office – develop local teams’ capabilities in managing direct customers on their own.

• Strong cultural adaptability and understanding of diverse business cultures across Asia.

• Solid experience in a similar position or comparable leadership role for US retailers or trading companies.

• Collaborative and decisive leadership approach, strong planning skills, with experience of working within matrix organizations.
