• Ensure Suppliers are adequately trained to reduce the ‘cost of quality’ through effective workmanship engineering and identifying cost reduction opportunities during new product development.

• Contribute to the development and management of Li & Fung‘s quality and product safety standards.

• Ensure team members grasp the implications of their actions for the business via adapting own communication style, language and business practices to reflect the cultural preferences of customers (internal/external).

• Help team members find ways to test new ideas efficiently through rapid prototyping and view innovation as a journey that may involve many turns.

• Promote collaboration and idea sharing among team members via encouraging others to express their full innovative self and explore new ways of doing things.

• Validate quality requirements, policies and procedures to ensure that new product will consistently meet the customer's requirements.
