Technical Leadership – Wash Development

·         Lead development of all wash techniques (enzyme, stone wash, bleach, tinting, overdye, laser, ozone, etc.).

·         Review buyer wash standards, technical packs, and risk assessments.

·         Provide technical comments during proto, SMS, and PP stages.

·         Approve wash recipes and ensure bulk consistency.

Vendor & Factory Management

·         Evaluate wash plants’ technical capability, machinery, and compliance standards.

·         Conduct technical audits and capacity assessments.

·         Guide factories on best practices in garment washing and finishing.

·         Troubleshoot bulk production wash issues and implement corrective actions.

Quality & Risk Management

·         Ensure shade consistency, hand feel, appearance, and measurement stability.

·         Monitor garment damage, back staining, puckering, and chemical reactions.

·         Drive root cause analysis for wash-related claims.

·         Ensure adherence to buyer RSL, chemical management, and testing requirements.

Cost & Efficiency Optimization

·         Analyze wash cost structures and suggest cost-saving techniques.

·         Support commercial teams with wash feasibility and price negotiation inputs.

·         Optimize chemical consumption and process efficiency.

Sustainability & Compliance

·         Promote sustainable wash technologies (laser, ozone, e-flow, water-saving techniques).

·         Ensure compliance with global environmental standards and wastewater management.

·         Collaborate with sustainability teams to reduce water, energy, and chemical usage.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

·         Work closely with Product Development, QA, Merchandising, and Production teams.

·         Provide technical training to vendors and internal teams.
