Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc/ M.Sc in Environmental Science
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring Environmental Compliance according to the Bangladesh Environmental Conservation Act.
∎ To Prepare and implementation of all applicable policies and procedures: EMS, EMP, CMP, OHSAS and energy efficiency, water efficiency, waste water management, waste management etc..
∎ Ensuring compliance with applicable RSL & MRSL & ZDHC declaration letter from all suppliers and for all chemicals
∎ Maintaining different environmental performance inventory: Chemical , Waste, energy, Water, Air, GHG
∎ Representing the company during the COC audit of different buyers.
∎ Performing Training Needs Assessment and providing training to related persons;
∎ Conducting HIGG (Environment) Assessment and Third Party Verification; Follow-up and implementation of PACT program recommendations;
∎ To maintain different sustainability program e.g. GOTS, GRS, OCS, RCS, Oeko-tex, WQP, WCLP etc.
∎ Ensuring Environmental health and safety and Chemical Safety of all facilities
∎ Responsible for ensuring DETOX/ ZDHC requirements, maintaining CleanChain and BVE3 program
∎ To conduct different awareness & training program on: Chemical Management, EMS, Waste Management, Water & Energy Conservation; Chemical Drill, Making Poster & Banner on Energy & Water Conservation etc.
∎ To ensure proper EIA, EMP, Aspect impact analysis; Impact Mitigation and Prevention Plan
∎ To conduct environmental internal compliance audit and preparing of buyer and government audit
∎ Prepare factory Corrective action Plan and its implementation as per observation followed time to time in respect of Environmental Audit.
∎ Should have knowledge on ETP, resource consumption, Air emission, water discharge, Waste generation etc. & setting strategies to reduce the water consumption, energy consumption and Air Emission.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 23 to 30 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Environmental Compliance, Environmental Science
∎ Must have sound knowledge in Computer.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English.
∎ Applicants must have a willingness and ability to work under pressure.
∎ Must be self-motivated and enthusiastic, able to work in a stressful situation.
∎ Willingness to frequent travelling to different facilities round the year
