• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Textile Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

• Diploma Engineers with exceptional industry experience are also encouraged to apply.

• Strong knowledge of industrial sewing machines, finishing equipment, and automated production systems.

• Experience in PLC-controlled machinery and automation systems will be an advantage.

• Ability to read electrical diagrams, machine manuals, and technical drawings.

• Good communication skills in both Bangla and English.

• Ability to prepare professional service reports.

• Strong customer handling and problem-solving capability.

• Leadership and team management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet service deadlines.

• Willingness to travel extensively across Bangladesh for customer support.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

• Valid driving license will be considered an added advantage.

Experience

• 10–15 years of practical experience in industrial Sewing, Finishing, and Automatic Machinery.

• Experience with internationally recognized machinery brands will be considered an added advantage.

• Previous experience in garment machinery companies or industrial automation companies is highly preferred.

Job Context

A leading industrial machinery solution provider is looking for a highly experienced Sr. Technician (Sewing, Finishing & Automatic) to strengthen its Technical Service Department. The ideal candidate must have extensive hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and after-sales technical support for industrial Sewing, Finishing, and Automatic Garment Machinery.

The candidate will work closely with the Sales, Service, and Customer Support teams to ensure excellent customer satisfaction, minimize machine downtime, and provide technical solutions that improve factory productivity and efficiency.

Job Location: Dhaka and CTG (Frequent travel to customer factories across Bangladesh)

Workplace: Work at Office & Customer Sites

Job Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and configure Sewing, Finishing, and Automatic machinery at customer factories.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure maximum machine performance.

• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and software-related faults and resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Provide emergency breakdown support and technical troubleshooting at customer sites.

• Conduct machine performance inspections and recommend process improvements.

• Train customer operators, technicians, and maintenance personnel on machine operation and maintenance.

• Prepare technical reports, service reports, installation reports, and machine inspection reports.

• Coordinate with overseas manufacturers regarding technical issues, spare parts, software updates, and warranty claims.

• Support the Sales Department by conducting technical presentations, product demonstrations, and machine trials.

• Ensure all service activities comply with company standards and customer requirements.

• Recommend preventive maintenance schedules and machine upgrades.

• Monitor spare parts requirements and coordinate with the Commercial and Store Departments.

• Assist customers in improving machine utilization, production efficiency, and product quality.

• Participate in new machine installation projects and factory setup activities.

• Maintain proper documentation of customer service history and technical records.

• Stay updated with the latest technologies in industrial sewing, finishing, and automation systems.

• Mentor junior service engineers and technicians.

• Perform any other technical duties assigned by management.
