Educational Requirements:

B. Sc./M. Sc. in Textile Engineering/ Fashion Merchandising/ Apparel Manufacturing from a recognized university.

Additional Requirement:

- Must have experience working with Sweater category products, Denim product knowledge is advantage.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, expert on costing and international buyers handling skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Manage full development cycle – from design concept, yarn selection, and sample initiation to final approval.

• Review tech packs, specifications, and buyer briefs to ensure accurate sample development.

• Coordinate with design, sample room, and technical teams for proto, fit, SMS, and pre-production samples.

• Ensure all developments meet target costing, quality standards, and merchandising calendar timelines.

• Prepare cost sheets for different styles and negotiate with suppliers/ factories to achieve competitive pricing.

• Evaluate alternative construction techniques to optimize cost without compromising quality.

• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to improve efficiency, innovation, and cost competitiveness.

• Track material bookings, capacity planning, and production follow-ups.

• Maintain order T&A (Time & Action) plans and ensure 100% on-time sample submission and production milestones.

• Act as the key point of contact for buyers regarding sample status, costing, approvals, and order execution.

• Analyze global sweater trends across yarns, gauges, stitches, trims, colors, and sustainability.

• Support seasonal range building and contribute ideas for new developments aligned with customer needs.

• Any other task assigned by the Manager.
