• Bachelor’s / Master’s in Textile Engineering or BBA/MBA in Apparel Merchandising from a reputed university.

• Candidates who have experience with the Pepco Customer (Shirt Division) will be invited for the interview.

• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in merchandising, with a strong focus on woven shirts, within a reputable buying house or apparel manufacturing company.

• In-depth knowledge of washing, shirt construction, fabrics (yarn, count, weave), trims, washing techniques, and quality parameters.

• Must have a strong existing network of factory connections for woven shirts.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (both written and verbal).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and experience with merchandising software.

• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• A proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong leadership and team management capabilities.

·      Manage the end-to-end merchandising process, focusing on woven shirts and shirt-related products.
·      Source and negotiate with factories to obtain the best prices, quality, and delivery timelines.
·      Prepare and manage the critical path (T&A) to ensure on-time delivery of shipments.
·      Liaise effectively with clients for sample approvals and address any queries.
·      Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to implement and maintain quality control standards throughout production.
·      Monitor production schedules and proactively identify and resolve any potential delays or issues.
·      Coordinate with the commercial team for accurate costing, pricing, and invoice preparation.
·      Prepare and present regular order status reports to management and clients.
