Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Textile and MBA in Supply Chain from any reputed university
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze the demand forecast provided by the sales for each style and category of garments
∎ Determine the quantity of units to be produced and the production lead time
∎ Evaluate the resources, such as man, machines, fabric, accessories, etc.
∎ Determine the capacity of the production line based on the availability of resources
∎ Assist procurement to ensure the availability of required materials, such as fabric, accessories, etc.
∎ Estimate the lead time for material procurement and plan the production accordingly.
∎ Create a buffer stock of materials to ensure that production is not affected by any material shortage
∎ Do the capacity booking and line loading plan | Daily | Monthly basis
∎ Make backward plan| lead time | production | delivery date
∎ Allocate the required resources to each production line
∎ Schedule the production sequence as per the production targets | with time frame
∎ Assign the appropriate man-machines to each line based on the style and category of the garment
∎ Oversee the maintenance schedule of the machines to minimize downtime
∎ Monitor the production progress | ensure that the production targets are met
∎ Identify any deviations from the plan
∎ Take corrective action to minimize the impact
∎ Report production progress and any changes in the plan
∎ Generate regular reports on production progress
∎ Conduct root cause analysis
∎ Implement corrective and preventive actions
∎ Monitor the production process | Quality | Lead Time | Standard allocated hour (SAH) | Delivery | Efficiency
∎ Manage the production planning team
∎ Make Effective communication with teams| Unites
∎ Make collaboration with sales, production | quality | wash| finishing| delivery
