  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Tajima DGML by Pulse, Wilcom embroidery software, and Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop.

  • Must be skilled in various embroidery design types including chenille, reversible sequins, cording, 3D puff, flat embroidery, and appliqué.

  • Proficient in executing multiple embroidery techniques and ensuring design feasibility for mass production.

  • Clear understanding of embroidery processes, stitch types, thread and needle usage, and embroidery accessories procedures.

  • Strong aesthetic sense, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and team collaboration skills.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Create and develop original embroidery designs tailored to various garment types and product lines.

  • Collaborate with clients, buyers, merchandising teams to understand design requirements, themes, and preferences.

  • Use specialized embroidery software (Wilcom, Tajima DGML) to digitize and finalize embroidery artworks.

  • Select suitable fabrics, threads, needles, and techniques for each embroidery project, ensuring quality and compatibility.

  • Operate and maintain embroidery machines efficiently, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

  • Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and finishing of embroidered pieces before production or delivery.

  • Stay informed about the latest embroidery trends, technologies, materials, and global fashion aesthetics.

  • Customize and personalize embroidery designs to fulfill specific client or buyer requests.

  • Coordinate closely with other designers, sample makers, and production staff to ensure seamless workflow and design execution.

  • Prepare design sketches, mock-ups, and sample patterns for review and approval.

  • Review and test designs for technical feasibility, durability, and compatibility with the selected garment materials.

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards.

  • Revise, adjust, or correct embroidery files and samples based on buyer or management feedback.

  • Maintain organized documentation of all embroidery designs, production processes, thread charts, and reference materials.
