Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Textile Engineering / Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) / Graduation or Post Graduation from any reputed Public or Private University.
Minimum 2 years managerial experience on chemical management.
Strong knowledge of textile chemicals, dyes, auxiliaries, inventory control, and warehouse management systems.
Must have skills in establishing proper store operations, inventory control procedures, and reporting systems.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team management skills.
Should be well-groomed, smart, and energetic.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication skills in both Bangla and English.
IT proficiency – advanced level skill in MS Office package (Especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Knowledge of ERP/Inventory Management Software will be an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory control and reporting.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Proactive, dynamic, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Oversee daily operations of the Chemical Store and ensure smooth inventory management.
Maintain accurate records of chemical receipts, issues, returns, and stock balances.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of all chemicals according to safety standards.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment of chemicals and auxiliaries.
Verify and maintain all chemical-related documents, challan, requisition, and stock reports.
Conduct regular physical inventory and reconcile with system records.
Coordinate with Production, Dyeing, Finishing, and Procurement teams to ensure uninterrupted chemical supply.
Monitor chemical consumption and analyze variances to optimize usage and reduce wastage.
Ensure compliance with company policies, environmental regulations, and chemical safety requirements.
Maintain MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) records and ensure proper labeling of chemicals.
Supervise store personnel and ensure adherence to operational procedures.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and consumption reports for management review.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed for chemical storage and issuance.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and inventory information.
Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and control.
Ensure housekeeping, safety, and compliance standards are maintained within the chemical warehouse.
Any other tasks assigned by the management from time to time.
