Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Graduate in Textile Technology/ Apparel Manufacturing/ Fashion Design or any related discipline.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyses the impact of changes in the economy at national and global levels on the RMG business sector and draw up action plans to take proactive actions.
∎ Introducing the strength of the company to international potential clients.
∎ Takes responsibility for overall monitoring and supervision of all merchandising and marketing activities for the Company.
∎ Takes responsibility for business development in new markets and manages relationship with key customers.
∎ Understands the strategic business requirement of the organization and suggests new capability building based on market intelligence.
∎ Meeting the target sales volume.
∎ Prepare and issue fabrics order according to the CAD & manual consumption.
∎ Assist all the necessary work to the Managing Director to expedite error free and smooth operation/ production.
∎ Follow up the sample development and process to obtain sample approval in time to meet the production plan.
∎ Preparation of Bill of Material which consisting of order breakdown, fabrics breakdown, assortment statement, requirement analysis of raw materials and arrange sourcing of it etc.
∎ Analyze pre-costing & post costing and evaluate financial result of product to be marketed.
∎ Preparation and follow up of time action plan to confirm in time delivery of raw materials to the production unit to keep a pace with the production plan in each unit and each line.
∎ Monitor and report on order follow up from sampling till shipment.
∎ Carry out quality assurance program on supplier and production units and take necessary initiative to avoid quality failure in the initial level of operations.
∎ Also responsible for the overall quality standard of Dyed Fabric.
∎ Analyze the quality procedure of each and every buyer and get the quality assurance parameter perfectly required for meeting the target quality.
∎ Maintain necessary quality records/documents as required by the customers.
∎ Strictly monitor for reducing wastage in fabric.
∎ Ensure proper environmental condition and compliance issues related to printing.
∎ Ensure proper environmental condition within the factory premises including workplace.
∎ Ensure protection/measure against Occupational, Health & Safety hazards/issues.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have 3 to 4 years as Manager/Sr. Manager/A.G.M- Merchandiser Position in any reputed garments factory.
