Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Age 35 to 45 years

candidates with extensive hands-on experience in pump service and strong practical expertise will be considered.

  • Minimum 10 years of practical experience in after-sales service of pumps and/or generators.
  • At least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience in trading, distribution, or OEM-authorized service environment preferred.
  • Exposure to corporate, industrial, government, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel across Bangladesh as required.
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills.

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of industrial pumps (water, sewage, booster, fire, centrifugal, submersible) and diesel/gas generators.
  • Expertise in installation, commissioning, fault diagnosis, and root-cause analysis.
  • Good understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.

Managerial & Leadership Skills

  •  Proven experience in leading large service teams.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.


Responsibilities & Context:

Service Operations Management

  • Lead and manage all after-sales service operations for pumps and generators nationwide.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with OEM service standards, safety norms, and contractual obligations.
  • Analyze service data to reduce repeat failures and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement service SOPs and service policies.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate service engineers, technicians, and service coordinators.
  • Plan manpower deployment, training, and skill development programs.
  • Ensure high productivity, technical competency, and discipline within the service team.

Customer Support & Relationship Management

  • Act as the escalation point for major technical issues and key corporate/government clients.
  • Ensure timely resolution of service complaints and warranty claims.
  • Support Sales and Business Development teams with technical inputs, site surveys, and pre-sales support when required.

Warranty, Spares & Inventory Control

  • Oversee warranty administration in coordination with OEMs and principals.
  • Plan and control spares inventory, tools, and service equipment.
  • Ensure availability of critical spares to minimize downtime and service delays.
