Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary:

•The Manager - Production oversees the daily operations of the production line, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality output, and adherence to safety standards. This role involves managing production staff, coordinating with other departments, and implementing process improvements to optimize production efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

•Supervise daily production activities to ensure schedules are met.

•Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.

•Ensure compliance with production standards and specifications.

•Maintain detailed production records and reports. Lead, train, and motivate production staff.

•Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure productivity and quality goals are met.

•Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and changes.

•Address and resolve any personnel issues in a timely manner.

•Implement and maintain quality control procedures.

•Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

•Identify and resolve production issues and defects. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement corrective actions.

•Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and drills.

•Address and report any safety concerns or incidents. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.

•Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement.

•Implement new methods or technologies to increase efficiency.

•Collaborate with the production manager on continuous improvement initiatives.

•Monitor and control production costs to meet budgetary requirements.

•Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.

•Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of materials.

•Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and loss.
