  • Sound knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes and quality inspection standards.

  • Knowledge of wood, board, veneer, laminate, upholstery, hardware fitting, polishing, painting, and finishing quality requirements.

  • Good communication, observation, and reporting skills.• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.



Responsibilities & Context:

• Inspect and verify the quality of incoming raw materials including wood, MDF, particle board, plywood, veneer, laminate, hardware fittings, foam, fabric, adhesives, chemicals, and other related materials.

• Monitor and control product quality throughout the manufacturing process, including cutting, machining, assembly, sanding, upholstery, polishing, painting, and finishing operations.

• Conduct quality inspections of semi-finished and finished products to ensure compliance with approved specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.

• Check product dimensions, workmanship, finishing quality, color consistency, hardware fitting, functionality, and packaging standards.

• Identify defects, non-conformities, and quality deviations and ensure timely corrective actions.

• Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, rejection reports, and other quality-related documentation.

• Coordinate with Production, Store, Procurement, and Warehouse departments to ensure quality standards are maintained at every stage of production.

• Conduct final quality inspections before product delivery and ensure only approved products are released.

• Assist in investigating customer complaints and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Ensure compliance with company quality policies, procedures, and workplace safety standards.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and material wastage.
