∎ Planning, communication, researching, writing, monitoring and evaluating, proficient in Arc GIS, QGIS, Field maps, Kobo toolbox, Data analysis.
∎ Facilitating group meetings, managing timelines, oral and written fluency in both Bangla and English, handling critical issues with relevant stakeholders

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ This position is responsible to assist the Project Manager, Shelter and Cluster Focal, Shelter on contributing to Macro Settlement Plan (MSP) Planning, Designing, Supervision, and Implementation of activities. Prepare site plans, specifications, or cost estimates for land development. Present project plans or designs to public stakeholders, such as government agencies or community groups. Also responsible for Prepare regular reports on the work progress of various urban planning activities and provide settlement planning inputs to the technical units through monthly Situation Reports and quarterly & annual reports. The staffs will expend his / her times/days to 80% in fields and 20% in official works.
∎ Site Planning:
∎ Assist in adopting and implementing the Macro Settlement Plan (MSP) at camp and Concern levels, coordinating with government and non-government stakeholders.
∎ Conduct feasibility assessments for new construction, considering MSP, disaster risk, and other guidelines.
∎ Develop and prepare Meso Plans, Camp Plans, and Site Plans as required.
∎ Monitor that shelter and construction activities are aligned with Site Planning standards.
∎ Prepare map on shelter footprints, existing physical features, and track ongoing activities.
∎ Conduct gap analysis to identify and prioritize projects.
∎ Prepare and present site plans, specifications, or cost estimates for land development, and communicate project plans to public stakeholders, including government agencies and community groups.
∎ Provide follow-up consultations to clients to ensure landscape designs are developing as planned.
∎ Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination:
∎ Stablish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring site planning and development.
∎ Represent the organization at field coordination forums such as the HCMP and ISCG, and liaise with national/local authorities, INGOs, and other sectors.
∎ Develop advanced visualizations and analyses to communicate project plans with various stakeholders.
∎ Prepare regular reports on urban planning and site development progress, including bi-weekly/monthly situation reports and quarterly and annual reports.
∎ Safeguarding:
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
