Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s degree (Media and Communication, Journalism, Statistics, Marketing, Literature, Public Relations and any other relevant fields.)
∎ Field of study can be compromised for the experienced candidate

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Development Communications, Journalism

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and produce communications materials on a regular basis for the HCMP programme.
∎ Ensure key messages are used consistently in all communications by assigned programme(s) and are in line with BRAC’s core values and central messaging format.
∎ Ensure quality content development (Video, Graphical design, Field story) by ensuring brand guidelines.
∎ Develop communications product ideas for best representing the programmes among key stakeholders.
∎ Support programme team members with writing, provide editorial support. Share readings about skills, e.g. time management, managing others, communication skills etc.
∎ Ensure other communication units are responding to programme needs on time and as per requirement.
∎ Work with media team to maximize exposure in external media including print, electronic and new media as per defined targets.
∎ Coordinate with Sectors and Projects of the HCMP for extracting reports collecting reports, Photographs and story of the HCMP interventions.
∎ Provide support for budget tracking and procurement process of the Communications Department.
∎ Pitch blogs/articles to external digital platforms proactively.
∎ Share stats, case stories on social media and contribute to the global agenda as appropriate.
∎ Support the branding, Campaign and Communications initiatives of BRAC as required.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and also encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Visual content development, Designs creative writing, blogging, visual storytelling, Strategic communication, relationship building, event management, social media, public speaking.
∎ Facilitating group meetings, developing work and project plans, setting priorities, meeting deadlines.
∎ BRAC’s values and mission, development sector, global development scenario to identify funding trends, contemporary communication practices and platforms, media engagement

Salary: Negotiable
