Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science Engineering

• At least 2 years

• Age 25 to 40 years

• Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.

• Knowledge of testing techniques such as functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.

• Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Trello, or similar is a plus.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts and issues clearly and concisely.

• Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to taking on new challenges and responsibilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

As a Junior SQA Engineer at Silicon Orchard Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Working closely with our development team, you will be responsible for identifying defects, writing test cases, executing tests, and providing valuable feedback to improve the overall quality of our applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional to gain hands-on experience in the field of quality assurance while working on exciting projects with a collaborative team.Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify bugs, defects, and inconsistencies.

• Document and report defects using issue tracking tools, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

• Participate in team meetings, stand-ups, and reviews to provide updates on testing progress and discuss potential issues or risks.

• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies, and share insights for continuous quality enhancement.

• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.
