Silicon Orchard Ltd is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Project Proposal Writer Interns to support our growing portfolio of local and international proposal submissions. This position offers hands-on exposure to technical writing, business development, proposal management, research, and strategic communications.
The selected interns will work closely with senior proposal managers, technical teams, and business leadership to prepare high-quality, compliant, and persuasive proposal responses for government, corporate, and technology-sector opportunities.

Draft, edit, proofread, and refine technical proposal sections, executive summaries, past performance narratives, capability statements, and compliance responses.
Format proposal documents in Microsoft Word using professional standards, including styles, automated tables of contents, page numbering, headers/footers, references, and templates.
Develop and refine pricing schedules, cost breakdowns, and financial narratives using Microsoft Excel.
Prepare proposal presentations, slide decks, infographics, and visual content in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Conduct detailed research on client requirements, evaluation criteria, procurement documents, competitors, and industry trends.
Translate technical concepts and subject matter expert inputs into clear, concise, compliant, and persuasive proposal language.
Maintain proposal trackers, compliance matrices, version control logs, and submission checklists.
Ensure proposal deliverables comply with client formatting requirements, including page limits, typography, font sizes, section organization, and submission instructions.
Assist with post-submission activities, including proposal archiving, lessons learned documentation, and debrief analysis.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather supporting documents, resumes, certifications, and technical content.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Strong command of grammar, sentence structure, tone, vocabulary, and document consistency.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong document formatting and presentation development skills.
Ability to analyze complex requirements and convert them into structured, point-by-point responses.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
Reliable internet connection and a professional remote work setup.
Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Previous experience preparing project proposals, research papers, dissertations, business plans, or technical reports.
Familiarity with government procurement processes, tenders, RFPs, RFQs, or proposal response structures.
Experience with compliance matrices, proposal review cycles, and document management.
Exposure to tools such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, LaTeX, Canva, or other publishing/document production software.
Background or interest in IT, software development, AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing, or data analytics.
Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Mermaid.
Availability to occasionally collaborate during U.S. business hours is a plus.
Direct exposure to real-world proposal development and international procurement processes.
