Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to manage oversee software development projects for global clients, specifically Japan-based partners. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of web, mobile, and enterprise software solutions.
This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage technical teams, and Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N3 or above). We offer remote or hybrid work flexibility, along with full-time or part-time opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end software development projects, ensuring successful delivery aligned with client needs and timelines.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and translate needs into actionable plans.
- Work closely with developers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, and DevOps teams to coordinate tasks and track progress.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Use project management tools (Jira, ClickUp, Trello, Asana, etc.) to monitor workload, milestones, and deadlines.
- Identify risks, delays, or technical issues and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain consistent communication with Japanese and international clients and provide weekly or milestone-based project updates.
- Ensure all project documentation, reports, and deliverables meet company standards.
- Support continuous improvement within the team by recommending workflow and process enhancements.
