Responsibilities & Context
Support and enhance insurance business operations under the guidance of the sales operations.
Engage with appointed bank officials, corporate clients, and other stakeholders to achieve assigned business goals and targets.
Assist the sales team in converting leads generated by banks, corporate clients, or internal campaigns into insurance policies.
Contribute to achieving monthly and annual targets, including First Year Premium (FYP).
Ensure timely renewal premium collection and maintain accurate records of premium payments.
Maintain healthy professional relationships with clients, officials, and internal teams.
Provide operational, documentation, and underwriting support, including verification, policy preparation, endorsements, and claims assistance.
Prepare client-ready proposals, quotations, presentations, and reports to support business development and sales activities.
Handle reporting, digital record management, and back-office operations efficiently.
Perform general computer-based office work, including email communication, Excel/Word tasks, and data entry.
Assist in client hunting, lead generation, follow-ups, and maintaining seamless communication between clients, sales, and operations teams.
Support compliance and regulatory requirements by ensuring accurate documentation and record keeping.
Collaborate with the underwriting, claims, and finance teams to streamline processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Proactively identify process improvement opportunities in back-office operations and client service workflows.
Experience
Maximum 2 years of professional experience in telesales operation
Experience in insurance, banking, or financial services, with exposure to back-office operations, underwriting support, policy documentation, and client servicing.
Prior experience in sales support, lead generation, client engagement, and coordination between sales and operations teams.
Exposure to telesales and telephonic client engagement for lead follow-up, renewals, and sales support in insurance or financial services.
Additional Requirements
Working knowledge of telesales operations and telephonic client engagement, preferably within insurance or financial services.
Understanding of outbound calling workflows, including lead follow-up, need assessment, and call outcome tracking.
Experience in selling or supporting financial products/services, especially insurance, is preferred.
Candidates from insurance or banking operations teams will get priority.
Must be honest, accountable, and a team player with strong work ethics and integrity.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiar with insurance management systems.
Strong business communication, client handling, and relationship management skills.
Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients or bank officials.
Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
