We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support & Networking Specialist to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing end-user support, maintaining network infrastructure, and ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient IT operations across the organization.
Responsibilities:
End-User Technical Support:
Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Assist users with operating systems, email, office tools, and business applications.
Hardware & Software Management:
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices to ensure smooth daily operations.
Ticketing & Issue Resolution:
Respond to IT support tickets, prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution while maintaining high user satisfaction.
Network Administration:
Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Network Configuration & Troubleshooting:
Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. Diagnose and resolve internal and external connectivity issues.
System Maintenance & Updates:
Perform regular system updates, patch management, and backups to maintain system integrity and security.
Security & Access Control:
Implement and monitor security measures including firewall rules, antivirus protection, and user access controls.
Server Support:
Assist in maintaining servers such as file servers and domain controllers to ensure reliability and availability.
IT Asset & Documentation Management:
Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and ensure up-to-date documentation of systems, configurations, and network diagrams.
Data Protection & Backup:
Ensure data backup strategies are in place and regularly tested to support business continuity.
Monitoring & Incident Detection:
Monitor system logs and performance metrics to detect and respond to suspicious activities or potential issues.
Compliance & Audit Support:
Assist in IT audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
User Onboarding & Offboarding:
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including email setup, device allocation, and access provisioning.
Vendor & ISP Coordination:
Coordinate with IT vendors, service providers, ISPs, and hardware suppliers for procurement, maintenance, and support.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare regular reports on system performance, incidents, and improvements. Develop user guides and FAQs for common issues.
