Responsibilities & Context:

We are looking to hire a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure) to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You will play a key part in driving automation, ensuring compliance, and optimizing our cloud environments to support mission-critical applications for our international clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Implement Cloud Solutions:
  Develop, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure in alignment with organizational requirements.

• Infrastructure Automation:
  Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates to automate the provisioning and management of Azure resources.

• System Monitoring and Maintenance:
  Configure and maintain monitoring tools including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to ensure system performance, availability, and reliability.

• Security and Compliance Management:
  Implement and manage security configurations such as network security groups (NSGs), firewalls, and role-based access control (RBAC) to maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards.

• Backup and Disaster Recovery Planning:
  Design and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery to ensure data protection and business continuity.

• Cost and Performance Optimization:
  Monitor resource utilization and implement cost-control strategies to ensure efficient use of cloud infrastructure while maintaining optimal performance.

• Networking and Connectivity Management:
  Configure and manage Azure Virtual Networks, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute connections, Load Balancers, and Application Gateways for secure and reliable connectivity.

• DevOps and CI/CD Integration:
  Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate infrastructure components into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for seamless deployment processes.

• Incident Management and Troubleshooting:
  Investigate, diagnose, and resolve cloud infrastructure issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain system availability.

• Documentation and Reporting:
  Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and performance reports.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  Work closely with software development, security, and operations teams to support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications and services.

• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay current with emerging Azure technologies, tools, and best practices, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance infrastructure efficiency and reliability.
