• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering

• Age 28 to 35 years

• Attend the maintenance request sent by other departments on a timely basis by following the hotel’s SOP. 

• Will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing and any other system that may be in place.

• Able to take charge of a shift of eight to nine hours (Morning/Day/Evening/Night).

• Respond promptly to the request of internal and external customer.

• Able to prioritize the maintenance issues e.g. to attend the breakdown maintenance of plant and machineries.

• Perform preventive / planned maintenance activities in the guest rooms and public areas.

• Tracking and controlling of materials inventory.

• Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment.

• Monitoring of fire alarm/life safety system as required and to be responsive to the emergency call.

• Must be able to understand operation and maintenance of MEP plants and equipment.

• Carrying out R&M of OOO & OOS guest rooms following PMS (Property Management System).

• Must be able to use the wits and technical abilities to solve problems and make repairs effectively and efficiently.

• Maintaining the maintenance log book & maintenance Team.

• Able to delegate duties to the Engineering supervisors, Ken Fix It and other technicians subject to preventive maintenance schedule / on corrective maintenance aspect.

• Shift hand over should be informative to the next shift in charge.

• Maintaining the complaint register and keep record with follow up.

• Must be competent to take ownership on making decision in absence of Chief Engineer/Maintenance Manager.

• Should be able to maintain engineering work area, tools, equipment and control desk in good conditions.

• Train up associates sharing knowledge and skills to enhance the preventive maintenance.

• Attend the firefighting training and obtain thorough knowledge of firefighting appliances to be prepared during emergency.

• Perform any other job assigned by management as /when required.
