Responsibilities & Context:

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Executive – Utility for our RMG factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing overall utility operations, electrical safety compliance, sub-station maintenance, and completing all statutory and audit compliance requirements (NIRAPON, RSC, and Buyer Audits).

Job Responsibilities

• Utility Data & Reporting: Collect daily utility data, maintain operational logs, and prepare regular utility consumption and efficiency reports.

• NIRAPON & Compliance Activities: Perform all NIRAPON-related compliance tasks on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual schedules; prepare 90-day progress reports and upload them to SharePoint.

• Testing & Technical Documentation: Prepare IR (Insulation Resistance) test, ER (Earth Resistance) test, Thermography survey, LPS (Lightning Protection System) test, Boiler hydraulic & water test, and Electrical Load Management reports.

• Electrical Safety & Standard Compliance: Conduct daily inspections to ensure electrical safety in alignment with BNBC and NFPA standards. Implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems as per NIRAPON, RSC, and Buyer audit requirements.

• AutoCAD & Drawing Updates: Regularly update Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Electrical Layout Diagrams (ELD), and LPS drawings using AutoCAD whenever new connections or modifications occur across the factory.

• Utility Operations & Monitoring: Monitor and coordinate the continuous operation and smooth maintenance of boilers, generators, pumps, lifts, and air compressors.

• Sub-station & Solar Power Management: Oversee operations and maintenance of 33kV/11kV and 11kV/0.415kV sub-stations, as well as the factory solar power system.

• Safety Training & Housekeeping: Conduct regular safety training for electricians, boiler operators, lift operators, and general workers. Maintain operational standards according to the 5S system.

• Ad-hoc Duties: Execute any other tasks or special projects assigned by the Department Head.
