Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum graduate in Computer Science and Engineering or relevant subjects by or before 2014.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitor security aspects of all infrastructure including server, VM, applications, application portal.
∎ Ensure loop hole of any security beach is taken care well in advance.
∎ Carry out regular penetration test and vulnerability assessment of core software system and advise the clients for necessary action to be taken.
∎ Take required action against any Intrusion, hacking, phishing, DOS, DDOS etc as and when deem necessary.
∎ Provide security status report to project manager and client at regular basis.
∎ Analyze IT specifications to address security risks
∎ Design and implement safety measures and data recovery plans
∎ Install, configure and upgrade security software (e.g. antivirus, anti-spyware, anti-malware, anti-subversion etc programs)
∎ Secure networks through firewalls, password protection and other systems
∎ Inspect hardware for vulnerable points of access
∎ Monitor network activity to identify issues early and communicate them to IT teams
∎ Act on privacy breaches and malware threats
∎ Serve as a security expert and conduct trainings when needed
∎ Draft policies and guidelines on server and system related security issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 years of progressive experience in server security management
∎ Must have professional certification in server security (from any discipline like, CISSP, CISM, RHCS etc).
∎ Proven experience as a Computer Security Specialist
∎ Programming skills are preferred (e.g. knowledge of Java, C#, Python and JS etc)
∎ Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g. NIST Cyber security framework) and risk management methodologies
∎ Knowledge of patch management, firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems (e.g. Tipping Point)
∎ Hands on experience in penetration tools like Nessus, Wireshark, NMAP etc is must.
