Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc in EEE/ Mechanical /Civil/ Industrial Engineering (with vast knowledge of Safety Standards).
∎ Professional Certification or Lead Auditor course on S A 8000/ WRAP/BSCI/SA8000/ISO Standards will consider as advantage but not mandatory.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Fire safety assessment of various factories according to the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC)-2006, ex Alliance & Accord standard, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) & RMG Guideline.
∎ Review and Prepare fire alarm- detection system and fire protection system design reviewing as per relevant NFPA, BNBC codes and applicable standards with accordance to ALLIANCE/ ACCORD (RSC/NIARAPON) expectation
∎ Additional responsibility for assessment & report preparing of total Electrical System-Generators, Transformer, PFI, MDBs, DBs, SDBs- Safety & Protection of Electrical Equipment’s checking and validate as built SLD, Electrical Layout drawings (ELD), conducting Insulation Resistance test, Earth Resistance test of any RMG industry.
∎ Analysis of previous safety audit reports (Fire, Electrical & Structural) conducted by ACCORD/RSC/ALLIANCE/NIRAPON and prepare the proper remediation plan with applicable standards of fire, electrical and structural safety of workplace of RMG industry.
∎ Perform Internal Audit independently with the sustainable scope of applicable standards on Fire, electrical and structural safety. Positive mind set to conduct audit anywhere in Bangladesh.
∎ Closely monitor the CAP review process and the internal Control System of the Factories and prepare formal Audit report based on findings and review the whole report with scope ETI base code and customers COC.
∎ Assistant Compliance Manager in preparing the safety standards and appropriate Training programs, to support vendors on all safety scope related to the apparel industries of Bangladesh.
∎ To prepare factory for facing different audit on fire, electrical and structural safety scope.
∎ Maintain vigilance on all internal/3rd party/customer visit reports and support any potentially business critical issues which may develop, highlighting any / all risks to the relevant to business and the appropriate compliance team.
∎ Assist Compliance manger to response timely to all relevant customers representatives on different queries and feedback with consent of compliance head.
∎ Undertake or arrange training for the employees of the Group companies and its supplier factories on Fire, Electrical and structural safety standards.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ Sound knowledge on Compliance of Apparel Industries with the scope of Safety & Clients COC.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ 3rd party audit Company, Buying House, Garments
∎ At least 4 -5 years as an auditor or in a similar position in any 3rd party /ACCORD/ALLIANCE/Brand/Sourcing office/ audit firm. candidates having working experience in the RMG industries with sourcing/ 3rd party audit firm will be preferred.
∎ Age 28 to 35 years. (Not limited for proactive and self-driven candidates with vast knowledge in applicable field)
∎ Good command in English (Written & Spoken). Excellent Reporting Skill, MS Office etc.
∎ Adequate knowledge on basic scope on Ethical standards. And familiar with the requirements of Walmart, George, TESCO, Sainsbury’s, Next, Primark.
