Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead Quality Assurance operations across the factory and ensure all the Quality Management System (QMS) are executed consistently to meet the buyers’ requirements.
∎ Develop/ update quality control SOPs and standards for raw materials, in-process checks and finished goods testing to ensure adherence to highest quality standards & compliance to all regulatory requirements.
∎ Ensure that all deliverables meet predefined specifications and standards on the first attempt (Right First Time).
∎ Liaise with the internal departments (Production, Procurement, Stores etc.) to ensure that the Quality Control team is provided samples on time.
∎ Establish and oversee comprehensive quality assurance frameworks, consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout all production stages.
∎ Standardize quality control processes across multiple factories, achieving uniformity and consistency in product quality.
∎ Plan for the work activities of finished product/ raw material/ in-process quality checks to ensure that testing is executed in a timely and compliant manner.
∎ Own the pre-production meeting process and address all callouts mentioned in line review meeting and set up relevant preventive actions in bulk production.
∎ Manage/ coordinate testing related activities at factory level including in-factory testing arrangement, in-house test facility/laboratory accreditation and associated in-house test reporting issues.
∎ Must be able to conduct effective training for QA teams & utilize machines to minimize cost and increase efficiency.
∎ Enhance overall product quality as assessed through final inspections.
∎ Assess a range of samples, such as shade blankets, bulk shades, size set, TOP samples, GPT (Technical Test) and to ensure they meet all specified attributes before obtaining customer approval.
∎ Check materials to ensure compliance with customer-required standards and regulations before received by the store.
∎ Maintain and archive that comprehensive documents of inspection containing the details of the time, samples, test procedures and results etc.
