• Good knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, machine settings, and sewing attachments.

• Familiarity with buyer technical requirements and quality standards.

• Understanding of sewing defects, defect analysis, and corrective actions.

• Basic knowledge of SMV, operation breakdown, and line balancing will be an advantage

• Support the sewing technical team in garment construction, line setup, and production activities.

• Analyze buyer tech packs, sewing operation bulletins, and technical specifications before production.

• Prepare and verify operation breakdown, machine layout, and sewing method for new styles.

• Assist in pilot run, PP sample, and inline technical approvals.

• Identify sewing-related defects and provide technical solutions to improve garment quality.

• Ensure correct machine selection, folder/guide attachment, needle, thread, and SPI settings as per buyer requirements.

• Coordinate with IE, QA, Production, and Maintenance teams for smooth production execution.

• Monitor sewing quality during production and ensure adherence to buyer standards.

• Assist in operator training on correct sewing methods, workmanship, and handling difficult operations.

• Follow up on machine attachments, special folders, and presser feet required for new styles.

• Conduct root cause analysis of sewing defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Support productivity improvement initiatives by reducing rework, rejection, and sewing downtime.

• Ensure compliance with 5S, safety regulations, and factory SOPs within the sewing floor.

• Maintain technical reports, defect analysis reports, machine requirement sheets, and daily follow-up records.
