Raw Material & Stock Management

• Inventory Control: Maintain real-time stock counts for raw yarns, rubber threads, chemicals, inks, and sticker paper.

• Storage Optimization: Organize materials systematically using a FIFO (First-In, First-Out) system to prevent shelf-life expiration, especially for adhesives and elastics.

• Receiving & Verification: Inspect incoming raw materials against purchase orders for correct quantity, weight, and batch numbers.

• System Logging: Update the ERP system or digital ledger immediately upon receiving or issuing materials.

Issuance & Production Support

• Material Requisition: Issue correct quantities of yarn, rubber, or tape to the production floor based on approved requisition slips.

• Batch Tracking: Ensure specific dye batches of sewing thread or specific lots of elastic are issued together to avoid color shading mix-ups on the production line.

• Reorder Alerts: Monitor minimum stock levels and send alerts to the procurement team before critical items run out.

Finished Goods & Dispatch Coordination

• Safe Storage: Store finished threads, tapes, and stickers in a clean, dry, dust-free environment to prevent moisture damage or staining.

• Challan Generation: Prepare delivery challans, packing lists, and gate passes for outgoing shipments to apparel factories.

• Loading Supervision: Oversee the secure loading of cartons onto delivery vehicles to prevent damage during transit.

Security & Maintenance

• Housekeeping: Maintain strict cleanliness, internal bin labeling, and clear gangways across the warehouse floor.

• Security Audits: Conduct weekly or monthly physical stock verifications to reconcile actual stock with system records and investigate discrepancies.

• Safety Protocols: Enforce fire safety measures and correct chemical storage guidelines for inks or adhesives.
